My 2013 Hair Fair Picks

Hi there! I did a post like this for Hair Fair 2012 and I found it really helped me decide on which style to choose from. I remember staying up all night after cruising around the Hair Fair and cramming like I would have back in college lol. This year there was not time to do it earlier……but I have been working on this for a few days now. These are my picks for the 2013 Hair Fair, of course I can always add to this post as well…………just in case I do not have enough hair yes?! 😉

Some of these styles are tried and true designers that I love, some are new to me as well. I have eleven sets in all and ten styles per set……….that is a lot of hair I know, but I am just a tad obsessed……..maybe!? hehe Since the beginning of my sl I have had such a love for all the pretty hairstyles. This has quietly become my passion, ok maybe not so quietly when I post like this.

All in all………….the Hair Fair is my favorite event of the year and I wait eagerly for it’s arrival. I am so happy to have been included in this fabulous event for the last two seasons, and am thankful for being chosen to do so. Hair is such an important asset in how we look at ourselves, in real life as well as second life. But here we are very much fashion oriented and need different styles for different outfits, and Hair Fair is a one stop shop for all the amazing designers to show off their talent.

Now of course the most important aspect of the Hair Fair is that every sale gives a portion of the money collected to Wigs for Kids, I think this is such a wonderful charity. We help children through very hard times and sickness……….there is no better reason than this to shop like crazy. I may buy a lot of hair, but for this amazing charity anything goes.

I will have a cut in this post this year…….so if you are looking for more…………..check that cut. I am showing all these beautiful locks so you can see exactly how these styles will look inworld. I tend to sit up on my platform and commiserate with all my loot (inserts wicked little laugh here), so this is a way to show it all off at once what might take me a few weeks to blog. Bliensen + MaiTai 2013 Hair Fair Preview

It’s the most wonderful time of the year……………………..Yay for the 2013 Hair Fair! It is bloggers preview day today and the Hair Fair has been opened up to usf ro a few hours now, and I have to say what an amazing build! If you like Lego……you are going to love the Hair Fair…….it is bright and colorful and of course the best part is the amazing hair to be had!!! I feel like a kid in a Lego Store.

I am bringing you a preview this am from Bliensen + MaiTai. These fabulous brand new styles made me just oh so happy……….I can never have enough vintage locks and these are a must for everyone’s vintage collection. I ran and grabbed this fabulous Letour Gown from Molichino and threw on some beloved Donna Flora Jewels and then pranced around in the magnificent goodness of these fantastic styles.

Remember to join the Demo Hair Group if you haven’t already….that way you can try on all the styles before the Hair Fair opens……..so you know what you are looking for in advance. This event is much loved by many and will be packed for the first few days……….so you need to be ready for that in advance! Also remember the proceeds from the Hair Fair benefit Wigs for Kids, so lets help them out! As soon as the event opens to the public I will post a nice little map with individual slurls to each designers’ block………really soon!!! Do not forget to stop by a Bandana Block as well…….there are so many pretty Bandanas to choose from this year!

I want to thank Sasy Scarborough and Whimsy Winx for pretty much everything, from including me in the blogger group to the amazing build………..as well as all the hard work that they put forth for this unbelievable event which seems to get better each year! Ok I have another preview coming up very soon……..keep trying on those demo’s because the fantastic hair to be had at this event is worth every second of the short wait!

 Hi there! Again I am on the run…………but this gorgeous Mina Gown is the VIP Group Gift for this month from Purple Moon Creations……and I could not resist blogging this beauty. I have a bunch of fabulous new and older items I am wearing. The amazing Rikka Necklace from Zibska comes with Earrings (not shown) and is texture change and wonderful, Grab this amazing set. Oh and I cannot leave without saying how yummy this amazing mesh Candy Style from Truth is, I find this style particularly glamorous and almost vintage as well…….of course it is all on how or what you are wearing with it that would dictate that I guess, but for me this long wavy style has beautiful written all over it!

Always On My Mind

I’m back again! This time I am wearing some amazing new items, I saw these adorable little Mesh Mint Bow Capri’s from Blueberry on Callie Oh over at her blog A Threadbare Cloak in SL a few days back and knew I needed these capri’s. I also knew I had a fabulous pair of Mesh Piazza Navona Ankle Boots from LeeZu and thought they were a perfect match. The Mint Bow Capri’s also come with a full size pant leg as well….so two pairs for the price of one…….and they also come in a few different colors as well…..I may have to go back 😉

The Mesh Piazza Navona Ankle Boots from LeeZu are such a treat to wear, these fabulous wedges are so amazingly different and of course very fashionably couture that I cannot take them off, they come in an amazing assortment of colors and even in pink which I ♥ very much. The detail is wonderful and yes you need these! I am also wearing the Brand New Sophia Skin from Hart at [PXL] Creations. Sophia has an enormous amount of options from lipstick’s to Eye Makeup Layers to SLink Mesh Attachment Tone Appliers, but today I am wearing her in her natural state…..bare lips and with a slight dusting of freckles across the nose. I think that Sophia is an amazingly beautiful skin with or with out the makeup.

My Eyes from Ikon of course are part of Ikon’s new line Ardent Eyes, I tend to stick with green eyes mostly…not sure why….maybe because in real life I have them…but I adore all of  Ikon’s eyes and if you have not been yet, what are you waiting for huh? 😉

This Vintage Blouse from -tb- is amazing and I may have purchased one or two……ok maybe three hehe this is a staple item for the upcoming season and available at Collabor88 for a small price and is absolutely gorgeous!

Elisha with roots……cannot go without the roots hehe from Truth is a fairly new and a fantastic relaxed style….I hope everyone will make it to the gigantic yearly sale at Truth…..which I still can’t get into……bangs my head off my laptop lol………good thing the sale runs until midnight of May 3rd sl time! I am also wearing a fabulous set of Nail Appliers from Flair (click on the photo to enlarge), Sasy is just creating up a storm and if you have not checked out her variety of beautiful mani’s and pedi’s go now! Everything….All At Once

Ola! It’s late I know….but when it’s New LeeZu time…………..the hour does not matter! I am just fascinated with this very pretty Kaya Mesh Gown and Boots……well it has a bit a flexi to it and add the very sexy high cut skirt and that makes this fabulous outfit an absolute must have! The boots are to die for…..and will make an appearance again! This whole ensemble also comes in a Gray-Brown or Champagne as well as the Black.

I have paired this most fabulous ensemble with the new LeLutka Princess Jasmine style……not only do I love this style (cos omg I am a disney fanatic)….but I love that LeLutka added the Jewels in with the hair package! Now these are color change with three different metals and many different jewel colors…I cheated just a bit and tinted them red so they would match the Kaya outfit, the Bliensen+MaiTai Paris Gloves and the perfectly glossed lips of Glam Affairs’ New Amberly Skin hehe.

Yes, I realize I am very matchy matchy……..maybe a little anal retentive about it……..my hubs says it’s just OCD, and my son (who is color blind) really Really hates this part of me, but what can I say…..if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it 😉

Ola! Third times a charm hehe I absolutely adore the new [PXL] VIP skin! This version of Faith is an Old Hollywood Glam beauty! She comes with a beauty mark so no need for my own this time and she is just perfect for that glamorous vintage look! Yummy, now there is a small fee to join the [PXL] VIP group but with gifts like these all is worth it yes?!
