Remove Your Hair to Show You Care

Ola! The Last Day of the 2013 Hair Fair has arrived. Although we bid adieu to this fabulous event, today is Bandana Day, So ‘we remove our hair to show we care’ for Wigs for Kids. A bandana or scarf made from other sl designers and residents have been readily available on each Hair Fair sim to grab all your favorites from. If you have not done so yet…….get them now! I know I have a huge folder of these amazing mesh bandanas but here are a few of my favorites.

Being the very last day of Hair Fair I hope every one has been and bought up all the wonderful new styles this amazing event showcases each year. I am in love with all my hair and keep working my way through my wonderfully large Hair Fair file hehe. I am once again so thankful to be apart of the 2013 Hair Fair…….Here is to another wonderful Hair Fair………….with many more to come of course 😉

I am wearing a fabulous new Diva Skin from [PXL] Creations. Diva is out for the Love Donna Flora event, each sold separately she comes in four different glossy lip versions, she is definitely a fabulous Diva and not to be missed. Also do not forget to also check out the amazing Pose that [PXL] is also selling for this wonderful event. I picked up this amazing Sadie Gown from Bliss Couture there as well…….I just love the feel of a magnificent full flex gown….the way it swishes around when walking or dancing is just wonderful. Make sure to pick up fabulous new poses from Click Poses and Props and oOo Studio, these are to die for.

If I Could Make the Days Last Forever

Ola! Yay it’s finally Friday! Today I am featuring Eaters Coma Hair available at the 2013 Hair Fair. I just love all these soft styles. Whether it is long or a short look you love, I would recommend them all. The 2013 Hair Fair is almost over (makes a sad face) so get over there and grab all the wonderful styles to be had, and remember that on the last day of Hair Fair (July 28th) we will all remove our hair to show we care and support Wigs for Kids, so make sure to grab a plethora of bandana’s yes!?

I have paired them with the most amazing Carla Open Cardigan from Blueberry and these fabulous new My Flower Mesh Jeans from the wonderful Bela at *TuttiFrutti*. These lovely jeans are available at the Love Donna Flora Event in this design as a few others.

I am also wearing new perfectly cute nails from Flair. This was my attempt at trying to get them into the photos so you could see them……..I think I failed though (but remember I cannot see very well lol) so I am including the Flair Nail ad as everyone needs these for their fingers and toes yes?! I am still wearing the amazing Jade from [PXL] Creations. I love her to death and do not plan on taking her off anytime soon, ok well unless it is for another Jade version hehe. Imagine………

Hi there, I am double crossing my posts tonight to include a wonderful gown from Baiastice and of course Vanity Hair Fair releases. Tomorrow the Love Donna Flora event opens, this is a wonderful grid wide celebration of Squinternet Larnia, the amazing talented creator behind Donna Flora. I have admired her from afar…..as I do not know her personally……but have been acquiring her most wonderful jewels and clothing for over five years now. Donna Flora means Glamour to me, anything you desire you can find in her store. The beautiful detail of everything she makes has swept the grid.

Squinternet who has made our Second Life that much more beautiful is having health problems. Breast Cancer that was not caught that developed into Bone Cancer, She was not to have survived. But she has and is need of in-home help, so many wonderful friends and designers alike all over the grid have responded by having The Love Donna Flora Event which opens at midnight and runs through August 11th . Over 120 Designers have come together to sell one item each that 100% profit will go to help Squinternet. Of course there is always the option of tp’ing into Donna Flora and shopping hard as well, Every little bit will help. I was sent some positive affirmations and all around good juju from Chalice not to long ago and I would certainly love to pass this on to Squinternet. Whom I think is talented, amazing and very strong woman.

I am wearing the phenomenal mesh Giulla gown, the Baiastice offering at The Love Donna Flora event which opens at midnight and runs through August 11th. This gown is definitely a show stopper……glamour all the way. The Giulla comes in many colors to choose from, but I chose the Pearl as it reminds me so much of Donna Flora jewels. These I am wearing as well. The Irina set is a new release…..I have mixed and matched with Pigalle Earrings, Gloria Watch and Anastacia Ring…….and I of course cannot forget the majestic Candy Tiara, all fit for a princess…….who loves Donna Flora in Second Life. I will see you all there tonight when this event opens!

I have paired all this wonderful glamour with the Vanity Hair Fair release, as well as the new Jade from [PXL] Creations, whom I love! Glamour and Vanity Hair goes hand in hand. These fabulous mesh styles are simply royal and scream a very quite and classic elegance. Only a few more days of The 2013 Hair Fair, as it closes on Sunday…….I hope everyone has had a chance to browse and give all their linden away to Wigs for Kids, I know I am still giving mine as I keep going back for more 😉

You May Say I’m a Dreamer, But I’m Not the Only One

Hi there, this is an extreme quicky as I have to run. This fabulous little Choose to Believe Mesh Blouse and Jean set are from *TuttiFrutti* and available at The Seraphim Social. Each month a book is chosen for this new group to read and designers create items inspired by the book of the month. This months book is The Host by Stephenie Meyer. One must always try to blend in with the environment, look natural and lay low. A gazelle around your neck is a must……..so is that crazy cute scarfed bag. Always be sure to look great and do not forget the Equestrian Boots. Also make sure to find the most amazing skin and style of hair……….maybe even a matching hat. Throw it all together with a little Python Dress with a Coat and you are ready for the trip……………but be wary of what is lurking around you at all times, because you just never know where the animals hide.

My 2013 Hair Fair Picks

Hi there! I did a post like this for Hair Fair 2012 and I found it really helped me decide on which style to choose from. I remember staying up all night after cruising around the Hair Fair and cramming like I would have back in college lol. This year there was not time to do it earlier……but I have been working on this for a few days now. These are my picks for the 2013 Hair Fair, of course I can always add to this post as well…………just in case I do not have enough hair yes?! 😉

Some of these styles are tried and true designers that I love, some are new to me as well. I have eleven sets in all and ten styles per set……….that is a lot of hair I know, but I am just a tad obsessed……..maybe!? hehe Since the beginning of my sl I have had such a love for all the pretty hairstyles. This has quietly become my passion, ok maybe not so quietly when I post like this.

All in all………….the Hair Fair is my favorite event of the year and I wait eagerly for it’s arrival. I am so happy to have been included in this fabulous event for the last two seasons, and am thankful for being chosen to do so. Hair is such an important asset in how we look at ourselves, in real life as well as second life. But here we are very much fashion oriented and need different styles for different outfits, and Hair Fair is a one stop shop for all the amazing designers to show off their talent.

Now of course the most important aspect of the Hair Fair is that every sale gives a portion of the money collected to Wigs for Kids, I think this is such a wonderful charity. We help children through very hard times and sickness……….there is no better reason than this to shop like crazy. I may buy a lot of hair, but for this amazing charity anything goes.

I will have a cut in this post this year…….so if you are looking for more…………..check that cut. I am showing all these beautiful locks so you can see exactly how these styles will look inworld. I tend to sit up on my platform and commiserate with all my loot (inserts wicked little laugh here), so this is a way to show it all off at once what might take me a few weeks to blog. Down on Mainstreet

Ok last post of the night. Amacci has an amazing selection of updo’s out for the 2013 Hair Fair. Also the really beautiful Lova……I love the sharp curves to this style and ever so soft. I paired them with Jade, [PXL] Creations soon to be released skin with Chocolate Lips. Jade is amazingly yummy! You can clickity click here for my full skin review. I have not had a chance to wear this fabulous ensemble from Purple Moon. The Milana Jacket and Skirt are very much like art, they flow perfectly and have the most wonderful textures. Once you have bought one…….you can buy the hud and have a fatpack of all colors.

I have had this Tefutefu Jewelry Set from Mandala burning a hole in my inventory for some time now and I thought it went perfectly with this ensemble. This set comes with a hud with many combinations as well as coming in many different color choices. Together with brand new Lauren d’Orsay heels from Gos I bring you my last look of the day.

It’s So Dreamy, Oh Fantasy Free Me!

Yes I am back again with Mina Hair. New to mesh but already rocking the styles away. The Ineke style (top) has a wonderful beaded headband with long locks swept up in the back. Two other styles Mirjam and Petra are long locks and beautiful as well, Laura is a fantastic full updo and I personally love this style, as this is how I wear my hair in rl all the time! I love the textures Mina uses as well as the tones. I am obsessing over the ombre look and I think all four styles are must have’s. Mina has all of these available at The 2013 Hair Fair. I hope everyone has had the chance to get in and be able to rez by now, the Building Block (My son saw this build when he woke up on Saturday am and called the Hair Fair, Lego Land lol) Theme this year is amazingly colorful and fun.

Please make sure not to unfortunately get scammed. There are reports of someone sending invites to join a group supposedly for the Hair Fair, requesting a 250L-500L join fee for gifts. There is no such thing, all designers have the Hair Fair Gift’s out in individual booths, only buy these. What people will do!!!

I hope everyone is gearing up for the last day of the 2013 Hair Fair, when we all shed our locks and wear beautiful bandana’s in support of ‘Wigs for Kids’. There are many blocks in which to grab all the wonderfully amazing Bandana’s made for this event from people all over the grid. All proceeds go to ‘Wigs for Kids’ so I picked up quite a few. These are a wonderful wear when you are attending a high volume event as well…….so keep them around and pull them out when needed.

The San Remo Cuff I am wearing is from Maxi Gossamer and is Materials Ready Cuff, after standing around for a long while on Firestorm, I finally figured out I could not see it as it was supposed to be…………so for now I have switched back to the SL Beta Viewer. Which hurts lol, I love Firestorm for so many things but I can withstand until I can see the new Materials in it. I love that this is coming……..I just get cranky over the switch over process……..which seems to take so long rofl. But then again this is Second Life I am talking about………as I bang my head off my notebook hehehe.

One Love Feeds the Fire, One Heart Burns Desire

Hai there! Tonight I am Featuring Miss C, whom I buy from fairly often. I  love the mixture of flex with mesh…..still gives you that softer look and looks fabulous when dancing or using other animations, even when just prancing around in my AO (which by the way is Most Wanted from Vista Animations) I love the look of flowing hair…….the more we smooge (said as smoooooge) over to mesh I hope we never lose a little flexy in our sl. Miss C. has these fabulous styles out at the 2013 Hair Fair and the textures are just phenomenal as well as the colors to choose from.

I paired these hot new styles with a new release from Lacuna. I am really loving this store! Everything I put on I adore immediately ……again another fabulously textured and many with amazing colors to choose from, the new Mesh Racey Rib Tank dress are just a bunch of fun to dress up……or down. I kept my [EY:NO] Body Strings Butterflies on as I loved the look instead of a belt. But I did choose one of my favorite necklaces, the Vintage Camera Charm Necklace from Yummy, a perfect little trinket to combine with the ever fabulous Precious Bow Choker’s from Boom. There are a few different versions out for TDR Fusion for this round…..and a must have!

Now onto Jade, I don’t even know how to express the feeling when I slip her on, I know she is not out yet…….but you are going to love her as well, I just know it. This is a brand new line from [PXL] Creations. I love the way she can look very studious and fresh, then you put on the Red Lip version of her and she is rock’n hot. I think Hart hit it out of the ball park with Jade, She is completely perfect in every way, and the options she comes with are just as amazing. Eyebrows in many different tones, mole tattoos, cleavage tattoos, freckled and enhanced versions, lip colors versions, eye shadow and liners……..Jade is available in many different tones to suit as well. This newest release will be out very soon…….and I will let you know as soon as I have word 🙂

Oh and not to forget the wonderful LaGyo jewels I picked up and keep going back for, the Axile Line. I am wearing the Earrings with the Axila Bangles, which also come with a texture change hud for different types of colors and metals, I adore that you can mix and match with this line. I am also wearing a Flair Nail Hud Add-ons, those amazing little appliers for your nails, I love them…….and there are so many to choose from and all so pretty.
