My 2013 Hair Fair Picks

Hi there! I did a post like this for Hair Fair 2012 and I found it really helped me decide on which style to choose from. I remember staying up all night after cruising around the Hair Fair and cramming like I would have back in college lol. This year there was not time to do it earlier……but I have been working on this for a few days now. These are my picks for the 2013 Hair Fair, of course I can always add to this post as well…………just in case I do not have enough hair yes?! 😉

Some of these styles are tried and true designers that I love, some are new to me as well. I have eleven sets in all and ten styles per set……….that is a lot of hair I know, but I am just a tad obsessed……..maybe!? hehe Since the beginning of my sl I have had such a love for all the pretty hairstyles. This has quietly become my passion, ok maybe not so quietly when I post like this.

All in all………….the Hair Fair is my favorite event of the year and I wait eagerly for it’s arrival. I am so happy to have been included in this fabulous event for the last two seasons, and am thankful for being chosen to do so. Hair is such an important asset in how we look at ourselves, in real life as well as second life. But here we are very much fashion oriented and need different styles for different outfits, and Hair Fair is a one stop shop for all the amazing designers to show off their talent.

Now of course the most important aspect of the Hair Fair is that every sale gives a portion of the money collected to Wigs for Kids, I think this is such a wonderful charity. We help children through very hard times and sickness……….there is no better reason than this to shop like crazy. I may buy a lot of hair, but for this amazing charity anything goes.

I will have a cut in this post this year…….so if you are looking for more…………..check that cut. I am showing all these beautiful locks so you can see exactly how these styles will look inworld. I tend to sit up on my platform and commiserate with all my loot (inserts wicked little laugh here), so this is a way to show it all off at once what might take me a few weeks to blog. Sunset Stroll

Ola, I am back again with a few goodies. Sn@tch has this fabulous Bikini Sarong combo exclusive out for the 2012 Vintage Fair. The Sarong is mesh and moves exceptionally when you walk, there are demo’s available to try on to figure out your size, also these come in many colors to choose from. I adore the Lynn Style from Alice Project……and especially this color, also an exclusive for this years Vintage Fair.

Tomorrow Collabor88 starts………….this being a special edition as it is Collabor88’s first year anniversary. Has it really been a year? Wow talk about time flying by. All designers from the past are included in this months event. Pididdle will be releasing these amazing Flerir Sunshades. There are different colors to choose from as well. I for one cannot wait for Collabor88 to open in just a few short hours!

Vintage Fair 2012 Preview 7

Ola 🙂 I am bringing you a preview of this beautiful maxi dress from Molichino. The two toned Pink and Gold Fade Jaci dress is mesh so you need a mesh enabled viewer to view it, but omg if you have not switched yet I suggest you do so asap! This lovely dress is available in multiple one toned or two toned colors and a must have!!!

The fabulous Ninna jewelry is from Me and there are several pieces to this set, but it is a must have with it’s color change hud that includes stones and metal, there are many different outfits this will work with!

This years Vintage Fair by Chic Management is fabulous I must say…….only 1 more day to go and you can shop your little hearts out!

Color Me This Contest

Yes Ladies and Gents LeeZu is having a 5 week long contest with a winner each week and a grand prize at the end of the 5th week. Join in the fun and color yourself with LeeZu!

Totally stolen from the contest notecard 😉 but here are the rules;

♥ What is it?

Every Sunday for 5 weeks we will announce a different color in which you style a [LeeZu!] outfit. We will choose a weekly winner and at the end of the contest for one last challenge, all the collective winners will style a final themed outfit for a Grand Prize of 10,000 Lindens and 5 Fat Packs of LeeZu’s newer releases.

♥ When is it?

Once a week on Sunday (by 6AM SLT) we will announce the color of the week. The idea is to be creative and make a FABULOUS outfit mixing and matching any [LeeZu!] Collection item that is in the store to come up with something unique and wild. We would love to see some MEN come in and style something killer…hint, hint!
All photos are due by the following Friday no later than Midnight SLT and the winner of that week will be announced.

♥ Who wins it?

One winner per week for 5 weeks; he/she will receive 3 Fat Packs and a spot in the final challenge. The Grand Prize winner will receive 5 Fat Packs and 10,000L$.

The only limit to this contest is your creativity and imagination. Use as much [LeeZu!] as you want and don’t forget we have a HUGE furniture section.

♥ THIS WEEKS COLOR:: BLACK

THE RULES::

1. Use any [LeeZu!] piece you like with a minimum of 2 items, the more [LeeZu!] the better!

2. You must stay within the color hue of the week. A pop of a different color is acceptable but the base outfit must be the color of the week.

3. A professional photo is not necessary but snapshot with a good view of the created outfit is needed, however all professionally edited photos are welcomed.

4. You must add a styling card, this is a Notecard stating what you are wearing and the color. See example below.

5. Please use a Notecard titled ” [LeeZu!] Color Me This Contest- AV Name ” , add your photo and styling card and return it to TraLove Pinazzo directly. She will confirm she has received it, if you do not get a confirmation IM within 24 hours, then please resend it.

6. Photos are due by Midnight Friday SLT,  and the new color will be announced by 6AM SLT on Sunday morning. The [LeeZu!] Team has the right to disqualify any entrant at their discretion.

7. Be creative, push yourself, style outside of the box. We just ask to keep the nudity down.

The JUDGING CRITERIA::

1. How creative are you?

2. Did you PUSH your styling to the next level?

3. Did you stay within the color hue for the week?

4. The clothing item must be available in the store! Discontinued or items no longer available to the public are not allowed.

5. Very important, did you follow the rules?

A little taste of Culture Shock in way of Somnia, this kewt little Tee and Button Flap shorts are brand new and only available at Culture Shock when it opens on May 4th (both available in many different colours). I didn’t get early access this year (I have noticed quite a few picking up my year old blog posts for the 2011 Culture Shock) I will be one with the masses on the first day it opens shopping! But if it is anything like last year, this special fair which benefits Médecins Sans Frontières, will be amazing as all Chic Management events are.

So two nights ago I finally made it to Alice Project, not sure what took me so long, I bought Alice Project hair from the Vintage Fair and even joined the inworld group lol. Better late than never though, anyways……rambling……I noticed the kewtest Wonderland hair. A mental note was made, oh and a demo for my demo file, yes I have one of those too ;))

Then came yesterday and I am still catching up, so off to Sn@tch I go, I had spied the Goddess Silk on the feed and knew I had to have it, but as I was buying it I locked eyes on the New Hello Dolly Fishing outfit.

I got all excited, I knew not only would I fish for ultimate pink kewtness, I would be stopping 

by to pick up this fabulously adorable Wonderland Teacup Hair!
The result is my version of Alice in Wonderland.

All Good Things Must Come To An End

Well, this is my very last Vintage Fair post. Chic Management runs such wonderful events, I cannot wait for the next one! But this has been my ultimate favourite event so far. So many stores that I love all on two sims, and yes there was lag, and the regular………”Take off your prim” screechers, But still shopping during a main event from the safety of your own home, is way better than what most of us are going to go through for the rest of December in rl!!!! hehe You just have to embrace the lag, it’ll drive you loco if you don’t! lol

I picked up the Just Swing Icing gown, and searched my inventory for the fur stole (also from Icing) , I have been holding onto this for just over a year now. I actually won this in the lucky board (thanks again Mika) The stole comes in white (I have tinted it black) but also has an AO of its own as well as a few different ways to wear it.
I also picked up the new mesh hair from Alice Project to go with the dress and it is completely yummy. You have just three more days to pick up everything you could ever want in way of Vintage, so hurry before its over! I had a blast, and wish I had a million sl lindens to buy out the whole fair lol, but now to sock it all away for another time and different day.
