It’s So Dreamy, Oh Fantasy Free Me!

Yes I am back again with Mina Hair. New to mesh but already rocking the styles away. The Ineke style (top) has a wonderful beaded headband with long locks swept up in the back. Two other styles Mirjam and Petra are long locks and beautiful as well, Laura is a fantastic full updo and I personally love this style, as this is how I wear my hair in rl all the time! I love the textures Mina uses as well as the tones. I am obsessing over the ombre look and I think all four styles are must have’s. Mina has all of these available at The 2013 Hair Fair. I hope everyone has had the chance to get in and be able to rez by now, the Building Block (My son saw this build when he woke up on Saturday am and called the Hair Fair, Lego Land lol) Theme this year is amazingly colorful and fun.

Please make sure not to unfortunately get scammed. There are reports of someone sending invites to join a group supposedly for the Hair Fair, requesting a 250L-500L join fee for gifts. There is no such thing, all designers have the Hair Fair Gift’s out in individual booths, only buy these. What people will do!!!

I hope everyone is gearing up for the last day of the 2013 Hair Fair, when we all shed our locks and wear beautiful bandana’s in support of ‘Wigs for Kids’. There are many blocks in which to grab all the wonderfully amazing Bandana’s made for this event from people all over the grid. All proceeds go to ‘Wigs for Kids’ so I picked up quite a few. These are a wonderful wear when you are attending a high volume event as well…….so keep them around and pull them out when needed.

The San Remo Cuff I am wearing is from Maxi Gossamer and is Materials Ready Cuff, after standing around for a long while on Firestorm, I finally figured out I could not see it as it was supposed to be…………so for now I have switched back to the SL Beta Viewer. Which hurts lol, I love Firestorm for so many things but I can withstand until I can see the new Materials in it. I love that this is coming……..I just get cranky over the switch over process……..which seems to take so long rofl. But then again this is Second Life I am talking about………as I bang my head off my notebook hehehe.

One of Those Summer Days

Ola! A quicky today………..this perfect Pink Fuel Sora skin is absolutely amazing, Sora is out for a mere 75L at the 5th Anniversary of Adore & Abhor……..there are many brands to pick from in this anniversary sale……I also picked up this gorgeous little Beige Heart Bag from A&A there as well, these come in an assortment of colors. Happy Anniversary A&A!

Something amazing happens to me when I put on this fabulous Dakota Dress from Maitreya…….ok ok it happens whenever I wear any item from Maitreya, it is like slipping into an older well-loved item, it’s always a perfect fit and is very delicious to wear. I would recommend anything from Maitreya, this is by far one of my very favorite stores in sl to date as I have been shopping here for many years now and secretly I think I own 1 of everything sold in this store……….which makes me bubble with joy that Maitreya makes such wonderful mesh items as well…..and even though you cannot see them I am also wearing Maitreya Gold Shiki Wedges in Black…..very yummy indeed.

The gorgeous Forget Hair from Magika is full of curly goodness, this style can be worn casual as well as dressed up. Ikon has new Ardent Eyes out for the Boutique at The Liaison Collaborative, grab these perfect eyes soon! Along with a few of my favorite things I bring you my look of the day that I have been wearing for almost a week! Yes really! Sometimes such beautiful goodness is very hard to take off 😉 My location Alirium is one of my favorite places to take photos, it has all four seasons to check out but I picked a combination of fall and summer as I simply love the colors.

I  was scanning over a few blogs the other day and came across Sasys’ post Shine On Me. She looks beautiful as always…but the fabulous Vari Necklace stood out to me, I knew I must have it immediately hehe….I rushed over to Emotions at The Deck and grabbed this fantastic combo. The Vari Necklace comes with earrings as well but the whole set has three different color combinations…..instant love! The Wrath of Evion

Ola! I am back with a new version of Kate, This amazing Wrath skin is a now available at PXL in ways of Gacha fun. There are 7 different Sin’ly versions to grab and they are all fantastic……but today Evion is feeling very wrath-like so I went for this extremely flawless sexy look, which also includes the amazing Mesh Rock Japan dress from Lou Lou & Co which is available at Zodiac Pisces for this months round. This fabulous dress comes with a hud so you can change colors of the fantastic clasps/seams. Do not miss out this dress it is well made and extremely gorgeous!

My Attic at the Deck started yesterday and this round is phenomenal, the theme is Pop Music which I love, and I have some really wonderful items to show you…..to start with this PopPop Headband from Pididdle. This Spiked headband not only comes in a wonderful assortment of colors to choose from, you also have 3 different metals to choose with each color…….yes much needed 🙂 I also adore the new pose set from The Muse Poses, even though they are called Erik, they are fully unisex and still very sexy for a woman. I love the poses from The Muse, amazing and always breathtaking!

Ola, I am back with a brand new skin, a beautiful Valentines version of Kate for [PXL] VIP group members. Blue Velvet…………..If You Please

Ola! I have been super busy in real life these past couple of days…….cleaning….taking all the xmas decorations down……visiting and of course shopping all the boxing day sales hehe…..but I did have time to make it to FaMESHed! I simple adore this event with all the perfectly exquisite mesh items by some of my very favorite designers!

Today I bring you a wonderful mesh Monique Suede Dress from Baiastice. I find I do not wear the color blue enough, as a brunette in real life I do not have much blue in my closet either, so this was a bit of a challenge for me hehe. There are simple an amazing assortment of colors to choose from for this fabulous dress……but the Blue/Cerulean caught my eye and I ran with it. Of course you can tell what song I was listening to when I took these photos……yes I changed the black to blue and even though this is a suede dress it simple looks like velvet to me….such a soft but smashing design, the Monique Dress is not to be missed!

I have coupled this fabulous dress with a new release of the Charlie Mesh Bag, from Rebel Hope Designs, which comes with or without a pose and is also modify so you can resize this fabulous bag which I love……every so often I buy a bag and I cannot resize it, but it just looks to big for my avatar so there is not much I can do but get rid of it, but this bag is beautiful and comes in tons of colors and is a permanent staple for your second life closet as it is to mine 🙂 Pick this up as well from FaMESHed.

The gorgeous Tinsley Cashmere Bow Scarf from Boom is available for just a few more days at Collabor88, so if you have not picked this scarf up hurry! The Carmen Savage Violet Blue & Python shoes are Decembers release from Miamai at L’accessories…………I am so in love with these amazing heels I think I own almost all the colors…..another fatpack I should have bought hehe. These come in a wide variety of colors in the solid tones at the front of the shoe as well as the Python textures at the back……these are just positively yummy, grab them up while you still can!

The Place We Call Home

Ola! I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful Sunday! I have a few things to talk about today, first up you will notice my Sway Cookie Bear in his red giftbox. I have joined Together for Sway. Now although I do not know Sway on a personal level, She has been a huge highlight to my Second Life, I have loved her Cookie Bears which she is most famous for, and her hunts as well as all the fabulous items she makes. I do her advent every year without fail and have since I started SL. She is going to be going through an operation soon and I just wanted to be able to give back a tiny bit for the joy she has brought me through out these past years.

Now with all this going on in her life right now, she has surprisingly still made her wonderful Advent for this season and this is one event not to be missed. The other is The Together for Sway Event which starts on December 15th and runs through to December 31st. I hope you all join us for this wonderful fundraiser. There are many wonderful Designers that will be participating, for a list you can read here as well there will be an Auction…….you do not want to miss this. At the end of the day Second Life is a place where many of us call home and Sway is a huge part of that. I wish her well and I hope she has a speedy recovery and is back with us as soon as she can be!

Now onto the fashion goodies! Baiastice has a few new releases out for this round of FaMESHed! A beautiful two toned Emma Jacket available in many colors and Gloves! OMG I am a huge glove fanatic and I will be wearing these perfect Leather Short Gloves throughout this season and longer hehe. Both items come in many gorgeous colors and are just fabulous!

I also purchased this fabulous Kimono Tie Leather skirt from NYU from FaMESHed as well, and although you cannot see the gorgeous tie covered by this jacket, this skirt is a must have! I promise to wear it again soon hehe. Now the Leslie’s Holiday Hideaway Furniture from .lame is there as well, you can purchase in Adult or PG versions…….this set is fabulous and a complete must have for your home! Winter Wonderland

Ola! Today I went on a jaunt to Izzie`s Winter Wonderland. Izzie has the most amazing scenes geared to all seasons, I loved the fall atmosphere, and the winter is just as beautiful. It is an absolute must see!

Now I have been wearing this outfit for a few days now and I knew I had to blog it soon, I just love the new Mesh Perla Sweater from Glam Affair! Then comes these amazing Layer Leggings from *TuttiFrutti*, they come in underwear and pant layers, as well as many amazing textures to pick from, these are a staple this winter season for sure!

The Easy style from Vanity Hair is gorgeous, I had to wear it with and with out one of my favorite fedora`s from Indy & Co. Easy is a mesh style with a flexi add on that I just adore! New jewels from LaGyo that can pretty much be paired with any type of outfit due to being color change and of course Geanna, the brand new skin from Izzie. Yes I love her as you can tell from my last couple of posts hehe…..and of course I cannot leave without mentioning the ever beautiful Eternal Eyes from Ikon, in Blue Gray this time 🙂

FaMESHed & Swept Away

Ola! Today I bring you a little something I threw together yesterday but didn’t have time to blog, but thank gawd I can as on Thursday I logged in happily in the am visited FaMESHed and got all my demos, but when I logged back in afterwards I could not see any mesh at all, skybox and house was gone, all my furniture as well including the mesh components in my outfit lol. Now I knew they were there because I could click on them, but about 5 hours later and a complete clean re install of Firestorm finally fixed up my viewer……after 5 years in sl I should learn not to panic when this happens………but I still do every single time!

Anyhoo……..Besides these amazing FaMESHed items I am showing off this fabulous new mesh Bonsai from Hanaya…………The Bonsai has many meanings to people from all over the world, but to me it represents a certain calmness…….beauty and longevity. I find the Bonsai to be truly relaxing. Hanaya has built this Bonsai to change with the seasons which I think is magnificent and with the coordinating tables as well! I so needed this after my stressful bout with my viewer, maybe it will work for you as well!  🙂

Happy 5th Year Rez Day Evion

Ola, yes Evi has made it through five whole years of sl! Five years ago today I was watching CSI: New York (ok which I never watch) lol and Venus showed me the way in. Now I admit when I first logged into second life and threw myself off orientation island within five whole minutes, I thought what a waste lol.
I didn’t know how to open a box, I could not understand how to make my hair long and why I was walking so funny! Thank gawd I ran into some really nice people who introduced me to Lucky Chairs and walked me through what I needed to know, a very daunting task!

Now on my travels I have met some of the most wonderful people from all over the world at that, and of course I have met some that I’d rather forget lol as I am sure everyone has. But I think the real draw for me is the barbie concept…….I was really into my barbies when I was young and here I could dress up in whatever my little pixel heart desired. Looking back before I became a blogger, I dressed up and hung out with friends…which yes is fun and I should do it way more than I do now, but now that I blog sl seems to make so much more sense to me. Not that I still don’t love meeting people, I do very much so…..but now it seems I get dressed up, try and find new places to take photos in, and pretty much show off what I’ve got stocked away in my ever growing suitcase and I feel as if I have done my job, I am satisfied lol, sounds funny I know but that is how I see it 😉

Well here is hoping that I will be bopping in and out of sl for another five years………..or someone hands me a cool couple million rl dollars and I will continue on there lol, either way ‘Happy Rez Day Evi” You deserve it for sticking around and putting up with your typist for so damn long!
