A Little Bit of Summer Relaxation

Ola! I am back with my last post for Together for Sway….makes sad face, I just cannot believe we are at the end of the month already…..ok year I should say. I hope everyone has had a chance to make it to this fabulous event! I am bringing you my last bit…but this fabulous Carova Retreat is not to be missed, I know a good majority of us are buried in two or more feet of snow right now. This relaxing summer retreat is just what we need! W.Winx & Flair always manage to amaze me…..there are five poses in this amazing retreat..three on the rug and two in the bench. The candles can be turned on and off as well, but what I love most is the shadow play this retreat offers…..besides the total relaxation you feel as you lounge. You can even have your friends over and relax and chat.

I am also wearing new Mesh Zia Denim Jeans from Cynful, I love how these jeans fit so well and offer comfort as well as style. My standing pose, Come Again is also available at Together for Sway from Tea, I have missed her poses immensely so I was happy to see them available.

I had such fun blogging for the Together for Sway event. I have adored Sway for many years now and have loved her advents and wonderful creations. I was so happy to see so many of my favorite creators there….and even found some new favorites as well. If you have not been yet, please stop by as Together for Sway closes on December 31st, tomorrow night, you can still shop at Sway’s Stores as well…..omg I can spend hours there lol I want everything 😉 There are many wonderful items to be had and you are helping at the same time! Donate if you can as well. Financial stress can often make us feel worse when we are going through medical issues of any kind and this is your chance to help out a fabulous woman so she can stay in sl and keep up with her wonderful sim, and return when she is feeling better. I wish her the best and hope she has a speedy recovery and can come back to us soon!

Have Hope…. Together for Sway

Ola! I am back with more from Together for Sway, which starts on December 15th. I just love the message on Thistle’s Wall Art and can be applied so much here and on a personal level as well, just words to live by. I am using this most magnificent Mesh Retro Glam Pink Phone Table from Zinnias, wow this is a must have! If you touch the phone it does really ring, and as you talk the animations are amazing! Coupled with the New Lisp Posh Skulls Sofa for Sway (you know by now that I love anything by Lisp and this sofa has the most wonderful animations) I am glamming it up Retro Style!

My new Noodles Have a Heart Necklace is just amazing with it’s tiny pink diamonds, as well as this most fabulous Flower for Sway Bracelet from Earthstones. I have been dying to wear the New Geanna Frostbite Skin from Izzie’s as well as this perfect Asami Hair from D!va (which comes with a ponytail and bun, not shown) both available at this round of Collabor88.

The new Together Mesh Jeans from *TuttiFrutti* are just as fun, I imagine myself getting home from a rough day and kicking of my heels, these fantastic Classic Leather Pumps from Duh!, and settling down chatting it up on the phone and relaxing!

Travelling In Style

Ola! I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday, I am travelling in style today. Just a few of my absolute favorite releases to carry me along. I still have a few things from FaMESHed on today, this fabulous Woolsworth Dress from Cracked Mirror and of course this magnificent Amelie Hairstyle from Wasabi Pills with the color change headband. My Eternal eyes are Brand New from Ikon, ugh I love this man and the most beautiful eyes he makes. What Next has this amazing Valena`s Travel Trunk out for Lazy Sunday and you should zip over there for that.

Now onto the shoes, The new Suave from Maitreya Gold are to-die-for!!!!! I cannot get enough of these shoes at all! I should have fattied them, because I already have gone back for the Chocolate pair today and I think I will need more…….ahhhh shop-o-holics dream come true lol

Now I am sure everyone has tried out the brand new Essential Line of skins from LAQ, and if not come down off your platforms skyboxes, or houses and get a move on, the Elle skin is perfect in every way, and I love the mix and match idea……I cannot wait to see what is going to be added in the future!

Now onto the other news, there is an avatar out there begging for money, she hit me up yesterday am and then later on as I was grabbing skin demos. Huh the first time I gave her a link to a job forum and she shut up….the second time I muted her because it was the same old sob story….and I can see she has been hitting the stores that are kicking out the brand new releases this weekend and it is such a shame to see. Some of us spend an awful lot of lindens on sparkling up our avatars, why the hell would we give our money away? Do not get caught up in this scam du jour!

FaMESHed & Swept Away

Ola! Today I bring you a little something I threw together yesterday but didn’t have time to blog, but thank gawd I can as on Thursday I logged in happily in the am visited FaMESHed and got all my demos, but when I logged back in afterwards I could not see any mesh at all, skybox and house was gone, all my furniture as well including the mesh components in my outfit lol. Now I knew they were there because I could click on them, but about 5 hours later and a complete clean re install of Firestorm finally fixed up my viewer……after 5 years in sl I should learn not to panic when this happens………but I still do every single time!

Anyhoo……..Besides these amazing FaMESHed items I am showing off this fabulous new mesh Bonsai from Hanaya…………The Bonsai has many meanings to people from all over the world, but to me it represents a certain calmness…….beauty and longevity. I find the Bonsai to be truly relaxing. Hanaya has built this Bonsai to change with the seasons which I think is magnificent and with the coordinating tables as well! I so needed this after my stressful bout with my viewer, maybe it will work for you as well!  🙂

Masai Mara, The Solidarity Store

Ola! Well I took a very welcomed weekend off from my beloved notebook and left Evi drinking soup for three whole days while I enjoyed a little bit of the real world out there before the first day of school craziness that hits most of us at this time of year 🙂

But we are both back to work today with some very beautiful clothing and accessories from Masai Mara The Solidarity Store. Over forty wonderful designers have come together for the month of September to bring you a sampling of wonderful items that represent the beautiful Kenya and to support the charity of
Kibera Youth Initiative and especially for Mama Tunza Childrens Home.

This is just a small spattering at what is being offered at Masai Mara The Solidarity Store to help out and dress all of you so pretty. Every little bit helps and there are some amazing designs to be had with proceeds going to this wonderful cause. A few brand new stores to me I am showing off today include Two Sisters Treasures, which have really lovely jewels as well as the matching Mandarin Moon Dress and Headband or Turban. The Muse Poses have a phenomenal selection of poses out for the event, I am showing off the Sue Set here (and in my next post as well). I could not resist wearing he New LeLutka hair Salome with these fabulous Donna Mesh Ruffled Tops and the Mesh Wide Pants from *TuttiFrutti* for the Chic Management 2012 Vintage Fair. I instantly thought of flower power when I wear these clothes, I adore them, they are purchased in separates and have more colors and designs to choose from……do not miss this store!
